Alisson Taylor, BS, Food Science and Human Nutrition

Alisson discovered her passion for food and nutrition while studying at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition. During her time there, she worked in the Dietetics department to teach athletes the importance of nutrition in athletic performance.


After graduating, she completed the Precision Nutrition Level 1 Nutrition Coaching Certification to pursue her dream of educating individuals on how to improve their relationship with food and live a healthier life. What excites her about food is how it brings people together, and plays a vital role in our overall health. 

At B.I.O., Alisson teaches clients and patients practical ways to use nutrition to achieve their goals of improving their athletic performance, accelerating the healing process, and developing a healthy relationship with food.

When she is not coaching, she enjoys spending time in nature, digesting a good book, and scouring the farmers market for fresh produce.
